Description:

In this session five young business leaders will interact with a humanoid robot and discuss the impact of AI on the labour markets. They will be asked to share with the audience their expectations, how technology will affect work in the short and long term, what kind of developments should be welcome, which ones should be avoided. The discussion will hinge on the importance of young entrepreneurship as a key component of Europe’s long term competitiveness and growth. Participants will discuss the conditions that are needed to allow young entrepreneurs to flourish and grow in the age of AI, the measures that entrepreneurs should endorse in order to guarantee an inclusive a participatory labour market, the safeguards that should be established in order to preserve the primacy of humans over machines in entrepreneurial decision making, the policies that may be needed to stimulate innovation, risk-taking and entrepreneurship among young people.
