Biography
Director of the Institute of Statistics and Demography at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, member of the Committee on Demographic Sciences at the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and leader of the SHARE 50+ Polish research group. Currently, she is the Vice Rector for Research at SGH. She was a member of the High-Level Group on the future of social protection and the welfare state in Europe. In the past, deputy minister of labour and social Policy in Poland, and the vice-chair of the Social Protection Committee. She specialises in demography, pension systems, labour market, social policy, health and education.
