Union of Skills Presentation

Roxana Mînzatu, European Commission Roxana Mînzatu introduced the Union of Skills, a new EU initiative to bridge skills gaps and prepare Europe’s workforce for the future. The initiative is built on four pillars: improving basic skills, making reskilling routine, enhancing skills portability, and attracting global talent through legal migration. Key implementation measures include a High-Level Skills Board for coordination, a European Skills Observatory for real-time data, and a focus on bringing more women into STEM. The Union of Skills aims to align education, business, and policy efforts to strengthen Europe’s human capital.
