Fireside chat: the Union of Skills in action

Chuck Robbins, CEO of Cisco Chuck Robbins underscored the urgent need for AI skills, revealing that while nearly all businesses recognise the importance of AI, very few feel prepared. The main obstacles are infrastructure, cybersecurity, and skills shortages. Cisco is actively addressing this gap by training 1.5 million students in digital skills by 2030 and supporting 5 000 AI and digital literacy instructors. Robbins called for a collaborative effort between industry, education, and policymakers to equip workers with the skills needed for the future.
