Biography
Anette is a Senior Technical Expert Education and Training at ICF, which she joined in 2011. Her main areas of expertise are European Education and Training Policies, Vocational Education and Training, Adult Learning, including Individual Learning Accounts and Upskilling Pathways. She has supported DG EMPL's ILA and Upskilling Pathways Mutual Learning programmes since 2018.
Anette has more than two decades of experience with supporting European Policy Networks and their mutual learning activities. As of 2020, she was responsible for the EQAVET Mutual Learning Activities, acting as Project Director and Team leader of the EQAVET Secretariat from 2021-2023. Prior to this, Anette managed and directed the assignment related to supporting DG EMPL’s ECVET Network (ECVET Secretariat) from 2016-2019. In these and other projects, Anette also acted as event manager and is an experienced event facilitator specialised in participatory leadership techniques.
Anette has a strong focus on efficient transitions towards employment e.g. through flexible learning pathways, credit systems, work-based learning, apprenticeships, and VET learner mobility. She has acted as policy analyst and report writer and has led several research projects in that area, e.g. the study ‘Skills Audits: Tools to identify talent’ for DG EMPL (2019).
