The second edition of the European Employment and Social Rights Forum took place on 16-17 November 2023 at the Egg in Brussels and focused on the impact of AI on the world of work.
For 2 days, the event brought together more than 2200 participants and 74 speakers to assess the challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence brings for the world of work and to explore ways in which we can ensure that nobody is left behind in the wake of these developments.
The Forum featured inspiring talks from Prof. Christopher Pissarides, co-founder and co-chair of the Institute for the Future of Work, and winner of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Economics; Stuart Russell, Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Berkely; Nicolas Schmit, European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights; Thierry Breton, Commissioner for Internal Market, as well as Members of the European Parliament and other high-level speakers from business, academia and civil society, from inside and outside the EU.
The European Commission hopes to see you all at the next Forum. Sign up for our newsletter to receive more news!
