Marzia Mortati, PhD, is Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano – Design Department. She is Vice-Director of the International Master in AI for Public Services and one of the Executive Directors of the European Academy of Design. Her research interests focus on the Design Process and Service Design, covering the relationship between Design, Data and Innovation, Design for Policy, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in public services. On these topics, she has worked on numerous international research projects.She teaches Service design and Strategic Design since 2007, and has been visiting professor in several international schools (Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, France, Sweden, UK). She has authored books and articles in international scientific avenues (Design Issues, Technovation, Design Management Review, Policy Science, She Ji, The Design Journal, Policy Design and Practice, Policy Science) since 2008.
